U Send Me Swingin’

When Stalley hooked up with Block Beattaz for his Savage Journey mixtape last April, I had my doubts. Why would he move away from the chemistry he had with Rashad on LWN? Did the MMG affiliation change him for the worst? Those questions and others were erased when he debuted a quicker flow and an edginess I hadn’t heard from him.

Stalley enlisted the Alabama production duo again for the lead single “Swangin” from his forthcoming debut album. The song features Houston OG Scarface and the bass heavy backdrop and hook borrows elements from Mint Condition’s 1993 R&B jam “U Send Me Swingin.” It’s time to see if Stalley can replicate the success from his previous projects.
