Spitta is on project #5 of the year. Just a month after he dropped his studio album he’s back with a 5 track EP, Cigarette Boats. I wasn’t feeling Stoned Immaculate too much, but this makes up for it. The backdrop provided by Harry Fraud conjures up images of Miami in the 80s, pastel colored linen suits, fast cars, and fast women. It’s no coincidence some of Spitta’s best work has been when one producer has handled all the production on the album (see the Pilot Talk series & Covert Coup).
I think it’s time we hear a full length Curren$y album over Harry Fraud beats.
