Lay Down Law From State to State

Over the weekend, I was listening to the Black Album. Solid production and solid lyrics. No, not that Black Album, I’m talking about No I.D.’s 1997 album entitled, Accept Your Own & Be Yourself (The Black Album). No I.D. is most known for his production work on Common’s first 3 albums and being Kanye West’s mentor. I’ve had the album for a minute, but I just got around to listening to it. It’s mostly No I.D. and Dug Infinite rhyming on the album, but I was intrigued by the song that featured Common, “State to State”. The song sampled “My Adidas” by Run-D.M.C.
